Trautman Art Glass 06 Apricot is a lightly reactive amber/purple type color, a little darker than Yellow Elvis. Apricot self-strikes, and gains some blue or purple highlights. Oxy flames bring out brighter tones, reduction gives softer earthier colors. Work in oxidizing flame until clear and haze has burned off, cool until orange glow has gone and reheat in the outer portion of a neutral to oxidizing flame to strike brighter colors. Reduce for more earthy muted colors.
Rods are approximately 8mm in diameter and 19 inches long. Approximately 10 rods per pound. Sample half rods are 9 inches long.
